The six-month course covers AI and machine learning, healthcare data, clinical applications, Generative AI, Agentic AI workflows and responsible adoption through live expert-led sessions.

IIT Delhi has opened applications for its Executive Programme for AI in Healthcare, with the six-month course scheduled to start on Dec 12, 2026. Candidates can apply for the program until Dec 10, 2026.
The program is being offered through the institute's Continuing Education Programme (CEP) and is aimed at healthcare professionals, technology leaders and innovators interested in understanding and applying artificial intelligence in healthcare settings.

According to IIT Delhi, graduates working in industry or academia in fields relevant to AI in healthcare can apply for the program.
The institute said artificial intelligence is increasingly being used across healthcare for applications including early diagnosis, personalized treatment, clinical decision-making, workflow optimization and patient-focused care.
Through the executive program, participants will receive practical exposure to the fundamentals of artificial intelligence and machine learning, healthcare data and clinical AI applications. The curriculum will also cover Generative AI, Agentic AI workflows and responsible AI adoption.
IIT Delhi said the program is designed to help participants move beyond understanding AI models and learn how such technologies can be translated from research settings into practical healthcare applications.
The course will also focus on the safe, ethical and effective use of AI across different healthcare domains. Live sessions led by experts will provide participants with an opportunity to understand the application of AI and emerging technologies in real-world healthcare environments.
The program will begin on Dec 12, 2026, and is scheduled to conclude on May 30, 2027. Classes will be conducted on Saturdays from 6 pm to 7:30 pm and Sundays from 11 am to 12:30 pm.
Interested candidates must complete the application process by Dec 10, 2026.
