The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow has opened applications for its Bachelor of Science (BS) program in Artificial Intelligence and Business Analytics, aimed at students who have qualified JEE Advanced after completing their higher secondary education.
The institute will admit 60 students in the inaugural batch, and the application window will remain open until July 3, 2026. Candidates can apply through the official website, iiml.ac.in/bs-artificial-intelligence.

Applicants must have completed 10+2 or equivalent in 2025 or 2026 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects, along with a valid JEE Advanced qualification.
Selection will be based on academic performance and JEE Advanced scores. A 5% relaxation in marks will be applicable for SC and ST candidates as per government norms.
A major feature of the program is an academic progression route that allows students to move into IIM Lucknow’s Tech-MBA program, scheduled to begin in 2027-28 after completion of the third year of the BS course. This provides an integrated pathway within the institute.
The curriculum combines artificial intelligence and management studies, covering areas such as machine learning, data engineering, analytics, responsible AI, data warehousing, big data computing, computer vision, deep learning, cloud computing, business analytics, and machine learning deployment.
Students will also have access to specialized laboratories in Business Intelligence, Computer Vision, Digital Transformation, Linguistics, and Social AI.
“The program will equip students with the skills and perspective needed to create meaningful impact in business, society, and the economy,” said Prof Sanjay K Singh, Dean (Programmes), IIM Lucknow.
“We aim to attract top talent in the country by offering admission exclusively to top performers in JEE Advanced,” said Prof Pradeep Kumar, Chairperson, Admissions, IIM Lucknow.
Graduates will be prepared for roles such as AI Engineer, Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, Business Analyst, and Analytics Consultant across sectors including technology, consulting, financial services, healthcare, and e-commerce.
Several other IIMs have also introduced undergraduate programs in recent years, including IIM Bangalore, IIM Kozhikode, IIM Sambalpur, and IIM Sirmaur.
The admission process will include multiple merit lists. The first list will be released on July 10, followed by subsequent lists on July 23 and August 3, depending on seat availability. The academic session will begin on August 17.
