The program is designed for professionals and managers seeking career advancement, offering a blended learning approach with in-person, virtual, and asynchronous classes in management, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Fintech, Business Analytics, and Digital Marketing.
A one-year Diploma in Management (DiM) program has been introduced by the Indian Institute of Management-Kozhikode (IIM-K) for professionals and managers seeking to advance their careers and gain advanced management skills.
This curriculum uses a blended learning strategy, providing a combination of live virtual classes, asynchronous coursework, and in-person classroom sessions.
Along with elective options in disciplines including artificial intelligence (AI), fintech, business analytics, and digital marketing, the program also covers important topics in general management.
The IIM-K Diploma in Management Aptitude Test and in-person interviews will be part of the selection process for admission to the DiM program.
Participants will also get the opportunity to attend workshops taught by professionals in the industry that cover a wide range of specialized topics.
The first batch is scheduled to begin in the third week of May, 2025. For more details, interested candidates can visit the official IIM-K website at iimk.ac.in.
Participants who successfully complete the training will be granted executive alumni status.
In addition to the core curriculum, 20% of the course material will consist of seminars covering specific industrial themes, which will provide opportunities for professional growth under the guidance of seasoned academics and business executives.
Participants in the DiM program will benefit from the flexibility of credit transfer options, which allow students to transfer credits to MBA programs.
To further enhance the educational experience, the DiM course will also include two five-day in-campus modules.
The initial group of the program is scheduled to begin in May 2025 for the academic year 2025-2026.
