The initiative follows a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Nagpur-based pManifold EV Academy Pvt Ltd (evACAD) to train professionals in ESG, climate finance, decarbonization, and sustainability leadership.

In a step toward advancing sustainability education and clean energy leadership, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kashipur has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Nagpur-based pManifold EV Academy Pvt Ltd (evACAD).
The collaboration focuses on key areas including clean energy technologies, carbon markets, green finance, ESG, circular economy, and broader sustainability goals.

As part of the partnership, the institutions have launched a postgraduate executive certificate program in net zero strategy and sustainability leadership.
The course is tailored for working professionals from sectors such as engineering, energy, oil and gas, power, consulting, corporate finance, and sustainability who are looking to drive sustainable change across industries, the social sector, MSMEs, government bodies, and civil society.
The program will cover a broad range of topics, including climate systems, decarbonization technologies, net zero transition pathways, carbon markets, climate financing, and sustainable business practices.
"This program is structured around three fundamental pillars: people, planet, and profit. Through engagement strategies, case study-based learning, and sustainability-focused teamwork, the participants will learn inclusive leadership in sustainability initiatives and change management methodologies," the press release stated.
Participants will also receive training on climate risk, economics, ecosystem thinking, and principles of circular economy.
The curriculum includes exploration of innovative financing tools for sustainability projects and methods for evaluating investments in green initiatives.
The MoU was formally signed by Prof Kunal Ganguly, Dean (Development), IIM Kashipur, and Rahul Bagdia, Chairman and Managing Director of pManifold EV Academy Pvt. Ltd., in the presence of Prof. Vaibhav Bhamoriya and other faculty members of the institute.
