E-Jaadui Pitara: NCERT’s digital learning app blends AI with stories, games and activities

NCERT has introduced E-Jaadui Pitara, a digital learning platform for parents, teachers and educators of children in the foundational stage.

It provides play-based activities, stories, songs, rhymes, puzzles, games, audiobooks and other teaching-learning resources for children aged 3 to 8.

The platform also uses AI tools to help users with education-related queries and resources linked to the National Curriculum Framework for the Foundational Stage (NCF-FS), National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the Unmukh trainer handbook.

What is E-Jaadui Pitara?

E-Jaadui Pitara is the digital version of Jaadui Pitara, a play-based learning resource introduced by the Ministry of Education in February 2023 under NEP 2020.

The original Jaadui Pitara includes toys, puzzles, puppets, posters, flashcards, storybooks and worksheets designed to support children's physical, cognitive, socio-emotional, language, literacy, aesthetic and cultural development.

E-Jaadui Pitara brings these resources to a digital platform, with content for children in the foundational stage, including Classes 1 and 2.

The platform has more than 1,000 stories available in 14 languages, along with activities, lullabies, songs and other learning content.
