The Delhi government has taken a new step toward modernizing its education system with the launch of the School Web App, a digital platform designed to improve school management and strengthen communication among parents, teachers, and administrators.
The platform serves as a single-window system for all school-related activities, aiming to make the learning process more transparent, efficient, and accessible.

Launched by Education Minister Ashish Sood, the initiative is part of the government’s broader push to digitize governance and promote technology-driven learning in schools across the capital.
Officials said the app will help streamline key tasks such as attendance tracking, academic performance monitoring, and parent-teacher interaction, creating a more connected and collaborative educational environment.
One of its core features allows parents to receive real-time updates on their children’s attendance, progress, and school announcements, ensuring constant engagement between schools and families.
Education Minister Ashish Sood said the launch represents the government’s dedication to creating a “smarter and more inclusive education system” in alignment with the vision of Digital India and Viksit Bharat 2047.
He noted that the app would reduce the administrative burden on teachers while helping students manage their time more effectively.
By providing digital access to learning resources and institutional data, the platform is also expected to strengthen accountability throughout the education system.
Sood explained that the School Web App supports the objectives of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which promotes skill-based and experiential learning.
It also incorporates elements of the Fit India initiative, focusing on holistic student development.
He added that by simplifying access to educational and co-curricular information, the app will encourage innovation and entrepreneurial thinking among students.
Expressing appreciation to developers, educators, and administrators who contributed to the project, Sood described the initiative as a “milestone towards a brighter future” for Delhi’s students.
“When determination is strong, the results are equally powerful,” he said.

Officials said the new platform aligns with the government’s goal of making public education more transparent and efficient.
By digitizing administrative functions, it is expected to cut down paperwork, speed up decision-making, and ensure quick access to vital information for parents, teachers, and students alike.
With this digital initiative, the Delhi government continues its push to integrate technology into classrooms, ensuring that the city’s education system remains transparent, adaptive, and ready for the future.
