Kerala have implemented a semicircular classroom seating layout, moving away from the conventional row-based system

Kerala Semicircular Classroom Overview:

A semicircular arrangement positions students in a curve, oriented towards the instructor in the middle.

It eliminates the distinction between front-benchers and back-benchers, promoting equal involvement.

Initially proposed in the District Primary Education Programme (1994), it has now been revitalized due to public engagement.

Significance and Educational Influence:

Inclusive Learning Environment: Promotes equal focus on every student, independent of their academic achievement.

Enhanced Teacher-Student Engagement: Teacher stays pivotal, boosting interaction and non-verbal communication.

Improved Classroom Interactions: Minimizes disruptive actions by eliminating physical and mental separation.

Enhances Self-Assurance and Collaborative Learning: Kids grow more eager to engage, inquire, and assist one another.

Psychological Well-being: Fosters a welcoming, less daunting educational environment for students who typically feel excluded.
