Concerning Operation Bihali:
What is it?
A counter-terror operation initiated to eliminate JeM militants based in Pakistan who are active in the Basantgarh region of Udhampur.
Initiated by: A collaborative effort between the Para Commandos of the Indian Army and the Jammu & Kashmir Police, overseen by the White Knight Corps.
Aim: To capture and neutralize four JeM militants identified through a year of monitoring, thus preventing potential cross-border terrorist strikes.
Importance: Strengthens local safety in critical regions, interrupts terrorism entry paths, and showcases India’s proactive and intelligence-driven counter-terrorism abilities in Jammu & Kashmir.
