Because of the growth in wind energy, which is helping the country move towards its goal of having 500 gigawatts of clean energy

Indias renewable energy sector is doing well with solar and wind energy getting bigger and stronger every day. This is what India wants to have 500 gigawatts of energy that does not come from fuels and to use less of the old kinds of energy.
One big reason for this growth is that many solar and wind energy projects are being built over the country. The cost of the technology is going down the government is supporting it. The infrastructure is getting better. So solar parks, rooftop installations and wind corridors are all helping to increase the amount of energy that is being produced.

The government is also helping by making it easier for private companies to get involved. Many Indian and foreign companies are investing in energy projects because of the incentives the support from the government and the growing demand for energy that is good for the environment. The partnerships between the government and private companies are very important for making sure that the projects get done quickly.
Indias growth in energy is connected to the Paris Agreement, which is a plan to stop the Earth from getting too hot and to reduce the bad things that people are releasing into the air. India has to increase the amount of energy that comes from sources that're not fossil fuels if it wants to meet these goals and have a cleaner economy.
This is a deal because it is good for the environment and it is good for the economy. When we have renewable energy we release less bad things into the air the air is cleaner and we do not hurt the environment as much. It also means that we do not have to buy much fuel from other countries, which makes us safer and saves us money.
Also the renewable energy sector is becoming a part of the economy creating jobs and helping new technologies grow. It is supporting industries like green hydrogen and energy storage.
So the fact that Indias renewable energy capacity is still growing shows that the country is serious about being sustainable and is a leader in the world when it comes to moving towards green energy systems. Indias renewable energy is getting bigger and stronger. That is good, for India and the whole world.
