Candidates who appeared in CUET UG 2026 can register through the SAMARTH portal as the university announces admission schedule, fee details and cut-off timelines for the upcoming session.

The Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) has opened the registration process for undergraduate admissions for the 2026-27 academic year for candidates who appeared in the CUET UG 2026 examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
According to the admission notification issued on July 9, 2026, eligible candidates must complete the registration process through the CUSB SAMARTH Portal at cusbcuet.samarth.edu.in. The registration window will remain open from July 9 to July 16, 2026.

Applicants will have to pay a non-refundable registration fee of ₹500 for General, OBC, and EWS category candidates, while SC, ST, and PwD category candidates will be required to pay ₹200 for each program they apply for.
The university will release program-wise cut-off marks for the first round of admissions on July 21, 2026.
The admission schedule stated that the first-round selected candidates will be required to pay the admission fee, including the one-time fee and first-semester fee, between July 21 and July 23 to secure their seats.
The second round of cut-off marks will be announced on July 27, followed by the fee payment window from July 27 to July 29. The university will publish the list of provisionally admitted students on July 30, 2026.
CUSB clarified that paying the admission fee to block a seat will not ensure final admission. Selection will be based on merit, fulfillment of eligibility requirements, and successful document verification.
Candidates have also been advised to confirm before registration that they appeared for the CUET UG 2026 subjects required for their chosen program.
The university said additional admission rounds may be conducted to fill vacant seats if eligible candidates are not available from the existing waitlist. However, the decision to hold further rounds will remain with the university.
CUSB also reserved the right to cancel admissions at any stage if discrepancies, incorrect information, or suppression of facts are found in a candidate's application, documents, or eligibility claims.
For the 2026-27 session, the university is offering admission to 24 undergraduate programs, including five-year integrated UG-PG courses in disciplines such as Geography, Commerce, Mathematics, Statistics, English, Hindi, History, Sociology, Political Science and International Relations, Economics, Chemistry, Physics, Psychology, Computer Science with Artificial Intelligence specialization, Life Science with Zoology or Botany specialization, Geology, Journalism and Mass Communication, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, and Environmental Science.
The university also offers integrated BA.LLB (Hons.) and BBA.LLB programs, a four-year B.Sc.(Hons.) in Agriculture, and a two-year Diploma in Pharmacy program.
Candidates seeking assistance regarding UG admissions can contact the university through email at [email protected] or call 9472979367 and 0631-2229512. The notification has been issued by Dr. Santigopal Pain, Controller of Examinations, CUSB.
