The workshops will provide principals and counselors with strategies to support children’s academic, social, and emotional development, while promoting positive parenting, resilience, digital wellness, and collaboration with families.
The Central Board of Secondary Education has announced a series of in-person parenting workshops for school principals and counselors or wellness teachers, scheduled from Sept 4 to Sept 18, in five states.
The workshops are designed to help schools implement the CBSE Parenting Calendar 2025–26 and provide parents with actionable strategies to address their children’s academic, social, and emotional needs.
The sessions will also focus on encouraging positive parenting, digital wellness, and resilience-building.
Principals and counselors who wish to participate must register online via the official CBSE notice. Seats are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Confirmation emails will be sent to selected attendees, who are expected to arrive at the venue by 9:30 am. The events will take place at designated CBSE-affiliated schools.
Hyderabad will host the first session on Sept 4, followed by workshops in Gujarat and Siliguri on Sept 9, Punjab on Sept 15, and Madhya Pradesh on Sept 18.
The Board emphasized that the workshops will offer an interactive space for parents and schools to collaborate and share learning experiences.
“The aim is to equip parents with practical strategies to support children’s overall development while promoting positive parenting and resilience,” CBSE officials said.
