Candidates can submit applications until 5 pm on the revised date, with the entrance test scheduled for Nov 29 across approximately 170 cities in three sessions.
The CAT 2026 registration deadline has been extended to Sept 22, 2026, giving candidates more time to complete the application process. The revised deadline is 5 pm on Sept 22.
IIM Indore opened the CAT 2026 registration window on Aug 3 at 10 am. The application process was earlier scheduled to close on Sept 15.
Candidates who have not yet registered can submit their applications online through the official website, iimcat.ac.in, before the revised deadline.
IIM Indore will conduct CAT 2026 on Nov 29 in three sessions across around 170 cities. During registration, candidates can select up to five preferred test cities. The examination authority will try to allot a test center from the cities chosen by each candidate.
If demand is high in a particular region, candidates may instead be allotted a test center near one of their preferred cities. Once a test center has been allotted, candidates will not be allowed to change it.
CAT 2026 application edit window
A short application correction window will be available after the registration process closes. Candidates who have registered and paid the applicable fee within the prescribed deadline will be allowed to modify only selected details.
