The new program equips students and professionals with practical skills in schematic and multilayer PCB design, high-speed signal integrity, power integrity, and EMI/EMC analysis using Siemens EDA tools.

BITS Pilani’s Work Integrated Learning Programmes (WILP) has joined forces with Siemens EDA to launch industry-focused certification courses in PCB Design and Analysis.
The programs are aimed at preparing participants with hands-on skills in multilayer and schematic PCB design, high-speed signal integrity, power integrity, and EMI/EMC analysis.

Learners will train on Siemens EDA’s Xpedition and HyperLynx tools, acquiring practical knowledge that mirrors challenges faced in modern electronics design and manufacturing.
Prof G Sundar, Director of BITS Pilani WILP, said, “The collaboration between BITS Pilani WILP and Siemens EDA reflects our belief that sustained industry–academia partnerships are essential for meaningful educational impact.”
“By working closely with Siemens EDA, we are creating learning experiences that evolve with industry needs, ensuring that our students and professionals remain relevant, adaptable, and prepared to lead future design and manufacturing initiatives,” Sundar added.
The certifications will follow a problem-based and experimental learning approach. They are open to students, working professionals, and engineers from industry, addressing skill gaps in areas such as semiconductor design, automotive electronics, and industrial automation.
