Students can access marksheets online as the board releases toppers and pass percentage, while opening a window for scrutiny and exams to help improve scores or clear pending subjects.

The Bihar School Examination Board has declared the Class 12 Intermediate results for 2026, making scores available to over 13 lakh students across Science, Commerce, and Arts streams on official websites.
The overall pass percentage stands at 85.19%. Students can check their results on biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in, results.biharboardonline.com, and secondary.biharboardonline.com using their roll number and roll code.

The marksheet includes student name, roll number and roll code, subject-wise marks, total marks, division, and qualifying status. Along with the results, the board has released stream-wise toppers, district-wise performance, and overall statistics.
Among toppers, Aditya Prakash Aman from the Science stream scored 481 marks with 96.2%. Nishu Kumari from the Arts stream secured Rank 1 with 479 marks at 95.80%, while Aditi Kumari topped with 480 marks at 96% in the Commerce stream.
Students can follow a simple process to access their results by visiting the official portal, clicking on the result link, entering their roll code and roll number, and downloading the scorecard for future use.
The board has opened the scrutiny application window from March 25 to April 2, 2026, for students who want their answer sheets rechecked. This process involves verification of marks, which may increase, decrease, or remain unchanged.
During the same period, applications will also be accepted for the Intermediate Special Examination 2026 and Compartment Examination 2026.
The special exam is intended for students who missed the main examination or could not complete the application process, allowing them to appear within the same academic year.
The compartment exam is meant for students who failed in one or two subjects and want to clear them without repeating the entire year.
Officials said the results of these exams are expected to be declared by May 31, 2026, ensuring students can secure admissions in the same academic session.
The board noted that participation remains high, with Phase V of the system recording strong engagement and continued interest from students and institutions.
Over the years, performance trends have shown steady improvement. The pass percentage was 78.04% in 2021, 80.15% in 2022, 83.73% in 2023, and 87.21% in 2024, before recording around 86.50% in 2025.
