The internship program offers recent BHU postgraduates a chance to gain hands-on experience across multiple disciplines, with a monthly stipend of ₹20,000 and positions distributed across seven fields.
Banaras Hindu University has begun accepting applications for the Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Internship for the academic year 2025-26.
This opportunity is part of the Institution of Eminence (IoE) scheme and is available exclusively to postgraduate students who completed their studies at BHU in the 2024-25 academic session.
The university plans to fill 110 internship slots across a range of disciplines. The breakdown of positions by field is as follows:

To be considered, candidates must have cleared the final semester of their postgraduate program at BHU in 2024-25 without any backlogs.
The maximum age for general category applicants is 28. Relaxations in age will be provided to candidates from SC, ST, and OBC groups according to government guidelines.
Each selected intern will receive a monthly stipend of ₹20,000. The internship will run from Sept 1, 2025, to Aug 31, 2026.
Selection will be based on academic records and a personal interview. The university will implement reservation policies as required.
Applicants are required to use the prescribed form and include all necessary documents.
Submissions should be made through the appropriate channels: library-related applications go through the librarian, while others go to the dean or head of the relevant department. The last date for submission is July 21, 2025.
