Navya Naveli Nanda, granddaughter of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan announced via her official social media account that she has been accepted into the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad's Blended Post Graduate Program (BPGP) Master in Business Administration (MBA) program, starting in a few months.

While this achievement was celebrated by many of her supporters, it also sparked controversy online.

Critics questioned the validity of her admission, suggesting she may have used influence or quota to secure her place.

One user remarked, "Corruption at its peak (not even given the entrance exam)," while others questioned about her CAT scores and GD-PI experience.

In response to the backlash, Navya addressed the issue on social media, posting a photo with her professor, Prasad Sir, who played a crucial role in her entrance exam preparation.

Her post aimed to clarify the situation and highlight the hard work she put into achieving this milestone.

Her message read, “Thank you to @mba_ims for your guidance in preparing for the entrance exams. This is Prasad Sir, who played a crucial role in helping me succeed in the CAT/IAT exams. I am honored to have learned from one of the BEST teachers. Celebrating at the @mba_ims office the day I received my acceptance was a special moment.”

Navya directly addressed a troll who alleged that she used her connections for admission.

She clarified that the program is a two-year blended postgraduate program and encouraged the critic to check the institute’s website for detailed information about the admission criteria and syllabus.

Her response, widely shared on social media, stated, “Please visit their website for further details regarding admissions criteria and syllabus. Thank you for your wishes!”
