The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Nagpur has announced the launch of the fifth batch of its Post Graduate Certificate Programme in Digital Strategy & Marketing Analytics (DSMA), offered in partnership with Jaro Education with artificial intelligence reshaping marketing practices worldwide. The executive programme responds to rising industry demand for professionals who can integrate strategic marketing with advanced analytical capabilities.
Recent research indicates that 74% of Chief Marketing Officers expect AI-powered predictive analytics to become central to marketing strategy within the next three years. In this context, IIM Nagpur’s DSMA programme aims to equip participants with the skills needed to thrive in an increasingly data-driven global marketplace.

The nine-month programme focuses on helping professionals design and execute measurable, data-backed marketing strategies. Alongside foundational areas such as consumer behaviour, SEO/SEM, social media strategy, content marketing, and marketing analytics, the curriculum introduces the latest advancements in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
Participants receive practical exposure to predictive modelling, personalization engines, AI-enabled campaign optimization, and automation tools, encouraging a shift from traditional marketing to insight-driven decision-making.
Emphasizing the integration of technology with strategy, the programme also explores Marketing Automation, Generative AI, and immersive VR/AR applications, enabling participants to build smarter, more engaging digital campaigns.
Highlighting the programme’s industry relevance, Prof. Debarun Chakraborty, Programme Director and Associate Professor of Marketing, said:
“The digital economy demands leaders who can translate analytics into actionable strategies. DSMA cultivates professionals who understand both the tools and the impact of data on business outcomes.”
Co-Programme Director Prof. Yatish Joshi added:
“Marketing and technology are inseparable today. Our goal is to empower learners to master emerging tools while sharpening strategic thinking for data-driven markets.”
Speaking on IIM Nagpur’s broader vision, Prof. Alok Kumar Singh, Dean (Executive Education), said the programme reflects the institute’s commitment to delivering impactful executive learning that blends academic rigor with real-world applications.
Director Prof. Bihmaraya Metri noted,
“We aim to prepare professionals who can integrate creativity, analytics, and technology. DSMA helps build leaders ready for the demands of a fast-changing global marketplace.”

The programme is open to graduates with at least three years of professional experience and a minimum of 50% marks. The nine-month course begins on November 23, 2025, with a programme fee of ₹2,25,000 + GST, supported by flexible EMI options.
According to IIM Nagpur, the DSMA programme has already shaped several successful marketing professionals. Reflecting on the experience, alumnus Swaham Choudhury, Marketing Manager at Mapei India, said: “Being an IIM Nagpur alumnus is a matter of immense pride. The programme helped elevate both my strategic outlook and technical skills.”
IIM Nagpur announced that admissions for Batch 5 are now open, with seat allocation based on academic background and professional experience. Early applications are encouraged due to high demand.
