Mukesh Ambani richest Indian, Gautam Adani Named the second richest in recently released Forbes Billionaires list 2024.
Forbes has released its 2024 'World's Billionaires List', which features 200 Indians, who have a collective wealth of USD 954 billion, marking a 41 per cent increase from USD 675 billion recorded in 2023.
Last year, 169 Indians made it to the billionaire list.

Ambani's net worth increased 39.76%, making him the first Indian to feature in the USD 100 billion club, reported India Today.
Second spot on the list was claimed by Gautam Adani, the chairman of the Adani Group, with a net worth of USD 84 billion followed by Shiv Nadar, with a net worth of USD 36.9 billion claimed the third spot.
Savitri Jindal was named India's richest woman with a net worth of USD 33.5 billion who jumped from sixth spot the previous year to fourth place this year.
The Forbes 2024 list also introduces 25 new Indian billionaires, including prominent figures like Naresh Trehan, Ramesh Kunhikannan, and Renuka Jagtiani, while some, like Byju Raveendran and Rohiqa Mistry, have seen their names drop off the list.
Renuka Jagtiani, with a net worth of USD 4.8 billion, serves as both the chairperson and CEO of Landmark Group, a multinational consumer conglomerate headquartered in Dubai.
The other people included in the list for the first time are Ajay Jaisinghani, Anil Gupta, Ramesh Kunhikannan, Vijay Agarwal, Girdhari Jaisinghani, Irfan Razack, Noaman Razack, Rezwan Razack, Shivratan Agarwal, Alpana Dangi, Naresh Jain, Shashishekar Pandit, Subbamma Jasti, Motilal Oswal, Kalpana Parekh, Lalit Khaitan, Nikhil Merchant, Pradeep Rathod, Mahaveer Prasad Taparia, and Shivratan Taparia, the report said.
