Dr. Vijay Kumar Yadav Joins AMHSSC as New CEO, Set to Lead Visionary Growth

New Delhi: The Apparel Made-Ups & Home Furnishing Sector Skill Council (AMHSSC) has announced Dr. Vijay Kumar Yadav as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective from April 1, 2024. With a distinguished career of over 22 years, including more than a decade in autonomous leadership roles, Dr. Yadav is set to navigate AMHSSC into a new era of growth and evolution. Before his association with AMHSSC, Dr. Yadav held pivotal positions in prominent organizations in the textile sector, demonstrating exceptional skills in industrial research, skill ecosystem planning, and policy formulation.

The Board Chairman expressed excitement about Dr. Yadav's appointment, mentioning, "Dr. Yadav has shown remarkable leadership and a profound understanding of the textile industry throughout his impressive career. His extensive experience in industrial and academic research, along with his forward-thinking approach, makes him an ideal leader to steer AMHSSC towards its next phase of growth and success."

Dr. Yadav, an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT)-Delhi, holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Textile Technology, along with a Master of Technology and Bachelor of Technology in Textile Engineering from the same institution. His academic accomplishments include completing significant research projects, leading to multiple Indian patents and publications in prestigious journals and conferences. His expertise in textile manufacturing, product innovation, quality control, and proficiency in computer-aided design and statistical analysis, positions him as a catalyst for innovation within AMHSSC.
