Criticizing the complicity of Western powers in "genocide of the Palestinian people", Congress MP accused Israel of revealing its “inherent weakness and inability to face their own truth,”

Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi on March 19 strongly condemned Israel’s latest airstrikes on Gaza, labeling the attacks “cold-blooded murder.”
In a statement posted on social media, Gandhi expressed outrage over the killings of more than 400 Palestinians, including 130 children, by Israeli airstrikes on March 18.

“This attack shows that humanity means nothing to the Israeli government,” Gandhi said, joining the international outcry against Israel's military actions.
The airstrikes have left at least 413 dead and more than 660 injured, with fears that many victims remain trapped under the rubble of bombed buildings. The airstrikes mark a dramatic escalation in the region, as the violence reignites following the fragile ceasefire agreement made earlier this year.
Gandhi accused Israel of revealing its “inherent weakness and inability to face their own truth,” while criticizing the complicity of Western powers in what she called the "genocide of the Palestinian people."
She added, “The more criminally the Israeli government acts, the more they reveal themselves for the cowards they truly are.”
Highlighting the resilience of the Palestinian people, Gandhi expressed admiration for their strength amidst immense suffering. “Despite enduring unimaginable suffering, their spirit remains resilient and unwavering,” she remarked, drawing attention to the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
The airstrikes come at a time when tensions between Israel and Hamas are reaching new heights. The January ceasefire, which saw the exchange of hostages and prisoners, is now in jeopardy as negotiations stall, with Hamas demanding a full Israeli withdrawal from Gaza and Israel seeking a truce extension without agreeing to that condition.
As the violence escalates, the prospects for a peaceful resolution appear increasingly uncertain.
