Sunita Kejriwal referred to Kejriwal as an honest, patriotic and humble person and appealed to people to pray for his long life, health and justice Says Sunita, Wife, Arvind Kejriwal
Following the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal by the Enforcement Directorate (ED), his wife Sunita announced on Wednesday that he plans to "unmask" the alleged "liquor scam" in court, providing detailed evidence, on Thursday.
In a video address, Sunita criticized the BJP, accusing it of wanting to "dismantle" the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Delhi. She stated, "Kejriwal informed me that the ED has conducted 250 raids and searched several people's houses, including ours, but found nothing. Despite his low sugar levels due to diabetes, he is still thinking about the people. He even issued an order to the water minister from the ED jail. What wrong did he do by doing so? Yet, the BJP has a problem with this."

She added, "The central BJP government has filed a case against him for issuing an order to the water minister out of concern for the people. What does the BJP want? They filed an FIR against your CM. Do they want to dismantle Delhi? Do they want the people to suffer like this? Kejriwal is very upset over this."

Sunita further described Kejriwal as an honest, patriotic, and humble individual and appealed to people to pray for his longevity, health, and justice. "He said his body is in jail but his spirit is among all of you. If you close your eyes, you will feel my presence around you," Sunita quoted Kejriwal as saying.
In the meantime, Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva met with the Delhi police commissioner and lodged a complaint against Arvind Kejriwal for issuing orders from jail.
Kejriwal was arrested on March 21 in relation to the now-abandoned Delhi excise policy case. According to the ED, Kejriwal was the "mastermind and principal conspirator of the Delhi excise scam" and "was involved in the conspiracy to favor certain individuals and in demanding kickbacks from liquor businessmen in exchange for favors."
