Commending the scientists for their contributions to the country's defense preparedness, Defense Minister urged them to integrate rapidly evolving technologies into their projects while maintaining a commitment to excellence.

India must find solutions to critical technological challenges to remain strong and secure in adverse situations, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said on Feb 28. He emphasized the need for Indian scientists and researchers to excel in frontier technologies to bolster national security.
Singh was in Hyderabad to inaugurate Vigyan Vaibhav, a two-day science and technology event organized as part of the National Science Day celebrations.

During his visit, Singh toured the Defense Research and Development Organization’s (DRDO) Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Missile Complex, the hub of indigenous missile development. Senior defence officials, including DRDO Chairman Samir V. Kamat, briefed him on the latest advancements in missile technology.
He also felicitated the team behind the Long-Range Hypersonic Anti-Ship Missile project, which completed flight trials in November last year. The achievement placed India among an elite group of nations with hypersonic missile capabilities.
Commending the scientists for their contributions to India's defense preparedness, Singh urged them to integrate rapidly evolving technologies into their projects while maintaining a commitment to excellence.
