India has strongly rejected Pakistan’s allegation that it was behind a deadly suicide bombing in North Waziristan that killed 13 Pakistani soldiers, calling the charge “baseless” and “deserving of contempt.”
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) accused India of orchestrating the attack through proxy militant networks, saying it was a desperate attempt to weaken Pakistan’s military morale.

However, no group has officially claimed responsibility, and analysts attribute the attack to local insurgents like the Hafiz Gul Bahadur Group.
India’s Ministry of External Affairs responded swiftly, with spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal stating, “We reject this statement with the contempt it deserves,” and condemns what it called an “irresponsible attempt at deflection.”
He added that India remains committed to counter-terrorism and hopes Pakistan addresses its domestic challenges directly
