In a bold diplomatic push, the AIMIM chief slams Pakistan’s anti-India narrative and urges Arab nations to see through Islamabad’s terror-linked propaganda.

In a powerful address on foreign soil, AIMIM President and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi dismantled Pakistan’s long-standing narrative of portraying India’s internal dynamics as a Hindu-Muslim conflict.
Speaking in Riyadh as part of a high-level Indian delegation on a diplomatic outreach mission, Owaisi declared that India is home to over 240 million proud Muslims and houses some of the most respected Islamic scholars in the world.

“Pakistan consistently misleads the Muslim world by painting itself as the only true Islamic nation in the subcontinent. That’s a lie,” said Owaisi. “India’s Muslim community is vibrant, patriotic, and deeply rooted in the nation’s pluralistic fabric. Our Islamic scholars are among the world’s best — they speak flawless Arabic and uphold our rich theological traditions.”
The delegation visit follows Operation Sindoor and heightened global outreach efforts after the Pahalgam terror attack, aimed at reinforcing India's image as a secular, democratic powerhouse in the face of rising cross-border tensions.
Owaisi also tore into Pakistan’s claims of military might and moral superiority, referencing recent cross-border operations. “On May 9, India demonstrated strategic restraint. Nine of Pakistan’s airbases were within our reach—but we chose to deliver a warning, not devastation,” he said. He highlighted the disturbing reality that a U.S.-designated terrorist led funeral prayers for militants killed in the strikes, underlining Pakistan’s deep links to terror infrastructure.
“Pakistan should immediately be reinstated on the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) grey list. That’s the only way to choke the finances of terror groups thriving within its borders,” he asserted. Owaisi pointed to photographic evidence of Pakistani Field Marshal Asim Munir shaking hands with terrorist Mohammad Ehsan, a move that casts a long shadow over Islamabad’s denials of complicity.
Recalling the 2008 Mumbai attacks, Owaisi criticized Pakistan for dragging its feet on justice despite receiving concrete evidence from the Manmohan Singh-led government. “India handed over dossiers, recordings, everything. But action came only when Pakistan was cornered by the FATF,” he said. He exposed Pakistan’s duplicity over Sajid Mir, one of the masterminds of 26/11: “First they claimed he was dead, then suddenly declared him alive and convicted him—not for terrorism, but money laundering.”

Owaisi emphasized India’s adherence to law and justice: “Ajmal Kasab faced a fair trial and was sentenced according to due process. Contrast that with Pakistan, where masterminds walk free while justice is delayed or denied.”
The Indian delegation, led by BJP MP Baijayant Panda, includes members across the political and diplomatic spectrum—Nishikant Dubey, Phangnon Konyak, Rekha Sharma, Satnam Singh Sandhu, and former foreign secretary Harsh Shringla. Their tour spans Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Algeria, amplifying India’s message of peace, inclusivity, and zero tolerance for terror.
Owaisi’s voice — representing one of India’s most prominent Muslim leaders — added a crucial moral and political counterweight to Pakistan’s religious rhetoric. In the heart of the Islamic world, he made it clear: India doesn’t just coexist with its Muslim population — it thrives because of it.
