In the ongoing excise policy case, BRS Member of Legislative Council K Kavitha's stay under judicial custody has been extended by the Delhi court until April 23, 2024. Kavitha, a notable political leader from Andhra Pradesh, was taken into custody by the Enforcement Directorate on March 15, 2024, over allegations of money laundering. The extension was granted by the Rouse Avenue Court in Delhi, indicating that Kavitha will remain detained as the investigation proceeds.
