Delhi Budget 2024: Government Announces FY25 Budget with an Allocation of Rs 76,000 Crore
Delhi's Finance Minister, Atishi, announced the budget for the fiscal year 2024-25 in the state assembly on Monday. The budget, which amounts to Rs 76,000 crore, is part of the government's efforts to realize the vision of Ram Rajya.
Atishi reflected on the transformation that Delhi has undergone over the past decade under the governance of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). In her inaugural budget speech, she proposed a budget allocation of Rs 16,396 crore specifically for the education sector.
She expressed pride in the fact that the Kejriwal government is presenting its tenth budget. "I am not merely presenting the tenth budget, but also illustrating the evolution of Delhi. Kejriwal emerged as a beacon of hope. We are all inspired by the concept of Ram Rajya and are diligently working towards making this dream a reality," Atishi stated in the state assembly.
