The camps will be held at educational institutions on the fourth Tuesday of every month, allowing students to raise concerns directly with officials, while complaints can also be filed through an online portal and toll-free helpline.

Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary visited the Bihar College of Engineering in Vaishali on Aug 25 and inaugurated a ‘Student Support Camp’ which is aimed at providing students with a direct and time-bound mechanism to raise their concerns.
Several senior officials accompanied the Chief Minister during his visit.

Earlier in the day, Choudhary announced through his official X account that the Bihar government was launching Student Support Camps from Aug 25 to ensure the prompt resolution of students' issues, grievances and suggestions.
The camps will be organised at educational institutions on the fourth Tuesday of every month.
Students will be able to present their concerns directly to government representatives and the officials concerned.
The initiative is part of the state's broader student grievance-redressal mechanism.
Students can also submit complaints online through the ‘Vidyarthi Sahyog Portal’ (Student Support Portal) and track the progress of their grievances.
The 'Vidyarthi Sahyog Portal' (Student Support Portal) was launched on Aug 17, aiming to provide students with a direct and time-bound mechanism for resolving academic and hostel-related grievances.
Under the initiative, a toll-free number 1100 has been issued for students to register complaints.
Students can submit grievances online or in writing.
"The identity of complainants will be kept confidential, the service will be free of cost, and the government has set a target of resolving complaints within 30 days, after which students will receive a written response," Samrat Choudhary said
The Chief Minister said the portal would allow them to communicate their concerns directly to the government without hesitation.
He emphasised that dialogue and cooperation with students are essential for improving Bihar's education system.

The Chief Minister said the initiative reflects the government's commitment to ensuring that every student's voice is heard and every genuine grievance is addressed.
“Except for the headline, no changes have been made to the story by Education Post staff.”
