According to an April 1 circular, specialized AI courses are available on the iGOT Karmayogi platform, a national digital learning portal under Mission Karmayogi designed for public sector training.

The document noted that the platform offers accessible, high-quality, and certified modules aimed at bridging the digital divide.

Officials have been directed to promote a set of free, self-paced AI courses among government employees. These include AI for Everyone: Foundations and Real-World Applications, GenAI: Enhancing Public Sector Efficiency, Mastering Techniques to Get the Best Responses from AI Tools, AI-Led Digital Transformation in Education, AI-Led Digital Transformation in Rural Development, and Generative AI Tools for Government Officials.

The courses are being offered in collaboration with organizations such as Karmayogi Bharat, the National e-Governance Division, Wadhwani Foundation, Microsoft, and Invest India.

Employees can access the training by logging into the iGOT Karmayogi portal, enrolling in relevant courses, and completing them at their convenience.

The Haryana Institute of Public Administration, which leads capacity-building efforts in the state, is playing a key role in equipping civil servants with AI skills to address emerging governance challenges.

The initiative is aligned with the Haryana AI Mission, which aims to position the state as a leader in adopting artificial intelligence across sectors, including public administration.
