CBSE opens applications for nearly 15,000 KVS and NVS vacancies

A new round of central school recruitment is set to begin as the Central Board of Secondary Education has opened online applications for thousands of teaching and non-teaching roles in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti.

Officials said the hiring process will help both systems fill long-pending vacancies and strengthen day-to-day operations across their schools and administrative units.

CBSE, acting on behalf of KVS and NVS, has announced more than 14,900 openings for Indian citizens seeking positions in education and administration.

Aspirants have been advised to review the detailed notification to understand the qualifications and criteria for each post.

According to the notification, age limits differ for each category of job, and eligible relaxations will follow Government of India rules. The cutoff date for age calculation is Dec 4.

Candidates must rely only on the official portals of CBSE, KVS, and NVS for accurate information and updates.

The application window will open on Nov 14 and close on Dec 4.

Selection for these posts will involve a written exam, a skill-based test wherever required, document verification, and a medical check. Candidates will need to clear all stages to qualify for appointment.

The application process includes visiting the official websites, reading notification 01/2025, registering with a valid email and mobile number, filling in personal and academic details, uploading documents, and submitting the form before the deadline.

Officials noted that the recruitment cycle offers a significant opportunity for individuals aiming for stable teaching or administrative roles in central government schools and urged applicants to ensure they meet all conditions before applying.
