At its 15th convocation, NIIT University reported 100% placements and strong role fitment rates for its graduating batch, reflecting the ongoing emphasis on employability and skill relevance.

The 15th Convocation of NIIT University (NU) was held at its Neemrana campus, where the Class of 2025 was formally conferred degrees in the presence of faculty, industry representatives, and university leadership.
This year’s graduating batch recorded 100% placement, according to data shared by the university. Despite prevailing market uncertainties, NU reported a 95% role fitment rate for BTech graduates and 89% for management programs. The institution said that over half of the students received pre-placement offers, citing growing industry interest in its graduates.

Students from various disciplines have been placed with companies such as Gartner, Thomson Reuters, GoDaddy, AllState, Thoucentric, Astra Security, GE Appliances, BigBasket, Edelweiss, Mercer|Mettl, S&P Global, Edelman, and Zebra Technologies. The fourth batch of the iMBA program also reportedly achieved complete placement, with offers from firms including Zeta Global, BigBasket, and GE.
At the ceremony, Amitabh Kant, Chancellor of NIIT University, said that students were increasingly working with emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and adapting to the evolving demands of the job market.
“We celebrate not just the placements but also the readiness and potential of our graduates,” he said.
Prof. Prakash Gopalan, President of the university, added that the results underscored the institution’s focus on skill-based learning and employability.
“Our graduates leave with the confidence and capability to meet professional challenges,” he said.
The event was attended by Rajendra S. Pawar and Vijay Thadani, founders of the university, along with Srikanth Velamakanni, Co-Founder and Group CEO of Fractal Analytics and Vice Chairperson of NASSCOM, who delivered the convocation address.
NIIT University, located in Neemrana, was established with an aim to integrate academics with research and industry exposure. The campus is built on sustainability principles and emphasizes technology-led and research-driven learning approaches.
While the university’s placement record this year continues its previous trend of strong employment outcomes, the broader discussion in higher education remains focused on ensuring long-term employability and alignment of academic programs with evolving industry requirements.
