Experts anticipate that Cyclone Yagi’s remnants could develop into a deep depression due to its strong organization and intense convection. A 72-hour alert has been issued for Bihar, West Bengal, Jharkhand, and North Odisha in anticipation of significant rainfall and associated risks.

There have been notable changes in the weather activity across North India recently. Now that the depression in the area has subsided, there is a little break in the rainy weather. But Cyclone Yagi's aftereffects are showing signs of recovery, and they might even strengthen into a new depression in the coming 48 hours.
A weather alert is issued for Eastern India, specifically for Bengal, Jharkhand, and northern Odisha, due to the anticipated increase in strong convection and rainfall.

Typhoon Yagi, formed in the northwest Pacific Ocean, strengthened into a cyclone as it approached the Bay of Bengal. The warm seas of the Bay of Bengal provide ideal conditions for the formation of cyclones and the energy needed to develop them.
Following a well-charted path, Cyclone Yagi began as a low-pressure system over the western Pacific and strengthened and organized over time before being categorized as a tropical cyclone.
It gained speed as it crossed the Philippines Sea and moved into the Bay of Bengal, where the warm sea surface temperatures gave it more strength.
The weather over Delhi and North India is expected to stabilize after rainy weather for the past few days, with dry air encroaching at intermediate atmospheric levels, leaving the area mainly unsaturated.
Even though there might be a few spells of rain on Sep 14, Sep 15 is predicted to bring clear, dry weather that will last until September 16–17.

As it moves westward, three scenarios for the impending depression are presented by model forecasts. As it approaches Madhya Pradesh, the depression may weaken and disappear or from Sep 17–20, there's a chance the system will turn towards Delhi, possibly bringing with it another round of rain.
Another alternative is that the depression may continue westward, traveling southward towards Rajasthan. The arrival of dry air, which may lessen the system's strength, is mostly responsible for the unclear trajectory.
Yagi, Asia's strongest typhoon of the year, devastated Vietnam with gales and torrential rain, killing nearly 200 people. As the Red River's waters filled the streets, thousands of residents who lived close to it were forced to escape.
