Shatrughan Sinha's last few months have been extremely hectic, affecting his health. He had a rigorous campaign schedule for the Lok Sabha Election 2024, in which he won the seat from the Asansol constituency in West Bengal by 59,564 votes as a Trinamool Congress candidate

Veteran Bollywood actor-politician Shatrughan Sinha was admitted to the Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai where he underwent a minor surgery.
The actor is reportedly stable and under observation. However, it is not clear when he will be discharged from the hospital.
The Sinha family is a little worried by this, after the double celebration of Sonakshi's wedding and Shatrughan's victory in the Lok Sabha election.
"We decided to admit him to the hospital because Dad had viral fever and weakness the last couple of days," said Luv Sinha, Shatrughan's son.
Prior to his daughter's wedding, Shatrughan Sinha had a rigorous campaign schedule for the Lok Sabha Election 2024. He won the Lok Sabha seat from the West Bengal constituency of Asansol by 59,564 votes as a member of the Trinamool Congress.
Following their marriage, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal have been embroiled in controversy. Trolls attacked the couple over their interfaith marriage, drawing criticism to their small-scale Bandra ceremony.
Shatrughan Sinha called out the trolls and pleaded with them to stop spreading hate. The veteran actor said, “Anand Bakshi Saab has written about such professional protestors: ‘Kuchh to log kahenge, logon ka kaam hai kehna. To this, I would like to add, ‘Kehne waale agar bekar, bekaam-kaaj ke ho to kehna hi kaam ban jata hai (For unemployed people, this is all the work they have).’ My daughter has done nothing illegal or unconstitutional."
