Kangana Ranaut, a well-known actress, has announced she will stop her acting career if she wins the election for the Mandi parliamentary seat.
She is contesting elections from Himachal Pradesh's Mandi town, her birthplace, as a BJP candidate.

“Yes… many filmmakers tell me that we have a good heroine, please don't go. I may be acting well, but come on, that's also a nice compliment. I take it in my stride," Ranaut said during a recent interview.
While filing her nomination earlier this week, the actress-turned-politician disclosed that her assets, including jewelry, cars, and properties, are worth Rs 91 crore, with a debt of Rs 17 crore.
