‘Operation Trident’ is being made in collaboration with Sunshine Digimedia. However, the makers have not revealed any details of the cast of the film and its release date yet.
Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani have announced a new film-- ‘Operation Trident’ under their production banner Excel Entertainment.
The announcement of the project was held at Nausena Bhawan in New Delhi, in presence of Admiral R Hari Kumar, Ritesh Sidhwani (Producer, Excel Entertainment), Kassim Jagmagia and Vishal Ramchandani (Co-Producers, Excel Entertainment), Abhinav Shukla (Producer, Sunshine Digimedia) Priyanka Belorkar (Co-Producer, Sunshine Digimedia).
‘Operation Trident’ is being made in collaboration with Sunshine Digimedia. However, the makers have not revealed any details of the cast of the film and its release date yet.
The film is based on the Indian Navy’s daring attack during the 1971 Indo Pak War. The film will depict the historic triumph of Operation Trident--a key offensive during the 1971 Indo-Pak War when the Indian Navy inflicted heavy damage on Pakistani vessels in Karachi harbor.
India celebrates December 4 as Navy Day to commemorate Operation Trident. Excel Entertainment posted on social media the film’s poster and pictures from the meeting held at Nausena Bhawan.
Meanwhile, Farhan Akhtar is also directing much-awaited Don 3, in which Ranveer Singh will play the lead role. Apart from this, Farhan has also announced Jee Le Zaraa, which stars Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt.
