The inaugural Cinevesture International Film Festival (CIFF) is set to grace Chandigarh from March 27 to 31, marking a significant milestone as the city's first international film festival. With an exciting lineup boasting over 67 titles spanning world cinema, Indian features, classics, and short films, CIFF promises a cinematic extravaganza for audiences eager to indulge in diverse cinematic experiences.

The festival's grand opening will feature the acclaimed French culinary drama "The Taste of Things," starring the renowned Juliette Binoche and directed by Tran Anh Hung, winner of the Best Director prize at Cannes. As the curtains draw to a close, attendees can look forward to the gripping South Korean horror drama "Exhuma" ('Pamyo'), the highest-grossing film of 2024 in South Korea.

CIFF aims to cater to a wide spectrum of cinephiles, with a rich selection of award-winning international features, indie gems, shorts, and timeless classics. From the thought-provoking Holocaust drama "The Zone of Interest" to Hirokazu Kore-eda's Palme d'Or winner "Monster," the festival promises an eclectic mix of cinematic brilliance.
