The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has announced the results of the Matric and Intermediate board examinations for Classes 10 and 12 in 2024.
The result is available on the UPMSP official websites- upmsp.edu.in, upresults.nic.in, using details such as roll number and date of birth.
During a press conference at the Uttar Pradesh Board’s head office in Prayagraj on Saturday, the Board's secretary, Dibyakant Shukla, announced the release of the results

The UP Board conducted the exams for Class 10 and 12 from February 22 to March 9. This year, the girls, once again outperformed boys in the Class 10th examinations. Girls passed with a remarkable 93.40%, while boys passed with 86.05%.
Overall, the Class 10th cohort achieved an encouraging passing rate of 89.55% while class 12th achieved pass percentage of 82.60%
Prachi Nigam topped class 10th exam with an impressive score of 591, closely followed by Deepika Sonkar with 590. Navya Singh, Swati Singh, and Dipanshi Singh Sengar, bagged the third spot, each achieving a score of 588.
Meanwhile, Shubham Verma topped class 12th exam followed by the second topper Vishnu Chowdhary.
According to the board’s guidelines, a student can pass the subject if he or she gets 33 percent. In case a student fails to meet this criterion in any subject, they will be required to appear for compartment exams. The dates for the compartment exams will be announced simultaneously with the results.
However, the provision of the compartment exam is not for students who fail more than two subjects and they are required to retake the entire exam.
According to the UPMSP, a total of 29,47,311 students registered for the Class 10th board examination this year, while 25,77,997 students registered for the intermediate examinations.
The total number of students registered for the Board exam in the academic year 2023-24 was 55,25,308.
However, a staggering 3 lakh students left the exams midway.
