A one-day orientation and training session has been introduced by the Directorate of Intermediate Education for the district academic monitoring cells in the state's government junior colleges in Telangana.
S Krishna Aditya, Director and Secretary of Intermediate Education, officially launched the program on Jan 25.
The program, which was created by the Academic Guidance Training and Placement Cell (AGTPC), uses frequent evaluation to monitor and enhance students' overall performance.
The goal of the program was to raise the academic standards of the government junior colleges through planning, organizing, observing, and putting into practice efficient tactics.
The district academic monitoring cells will focus on seven key areas in government junior colleges.
They will track district-wise, college-wise, and subject-wise results from the past three years.
Additionally, they will monitor absenteeism based on the 2024-25 admission data.
The cells will also ensure the timely evaluation of pre-final exams and analyze the results.
They will oversee the completion of APAAR ID generation on the U-DISE portal and ensure that daily reports are submitted to the AGTPAC head office.
Furthermore, the cells will verify that special classes are conducted according to the schedule.
Lastly, they will ensure that study hours are held twice daily, both in the morning and evening.
