SSC CGL 2024 notification released.
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the notification for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2024 examination. The recruitment will fill around 17,727 vacancies across multiple government departments. The application process is open from June 24 to July 24, and candidates can apply online at ssc.gov.in.
The SSC CGL 2024 exam will be held in two tiers. Tier 1 is scheduled for September-October 2024, while Tier 2 will take place in December. Successful candidates will be appointed to various Group 'B' and Group 'C' posts.
Government of India ministries, departments, and organizations, along with constitutional bodies, statutory bodies, and tribunals, will assign positions based on the examination notice and a merit-cum-preference system. The age of applicants will be determined as of August 1, 2024.
Candidates in their final year of graduation can apply, provided they meet the essential qualification by the cut-off date of August 1, 2024. To apply, all candidates must create a new one-time registration (OTR) on the updated website, ssc.gov.in, as OTR from the previous website, ssc.nic.in, will not be valid.
After completing the One-Time Registration (OTR) process, candidates are eligible to complete the application for the examination. The generated OTR on the new website will remain valid for all future examinations applied for on the same website, as stated in the SSC CGL 2024 notification.
