Narayana Business School Ahmedabad (NBS Ahmedabad) has been ranked the Second-Best Private B School in Gujarat in the prestigious EducationWorld India Higher Education Rankings 2025-26. The announcement was made at the annual EW India Higher Education Grand Jury Awards held at The Grand, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi, on April 25, 2025.

The award was received by Mr. Vishal Tiwari, Vice President – Growth & Strategy at NBS. He added “This milestone is both a recognition and a responsibility. We remain focused on pushing boundaries in education, preparing our students not just for jobs but for leadership in a changing world.”

The rankings, now in their 6th year, are one of the most credible and comprehensive assessments of higher education institutions in India. Organized by EducationWorld in collaboration with GrayQuest and Academia by Serosoft, the event brought together academic leaders, policy experts, and innovators in education to celebrate and evaluate outstanding institutions across multiple categories.

This year’s event, themed around transformational change in India’s higher education sector, was marked by high-impact discussions, expert panels, and awards recognizing excellence in innovation, diversity, equity, academic achievement, and professional development.

The EW India Higher Education Rankings 2025-26 Awards evaluated over 1,500 institutions nationwide, using a rigorous, multi-layered methodology that incorporates peer reviews, student feedback, academic data, and expert jury deliberations. Institutions were ranked across categories such as Private Universities, Government Universities, Engineering Institutes, B-Schools, Non-Autonomous and Autonomous Colleges, and by state and national levels.

The awards also featured thematic honors such as:

  • Excellence in Skill Development Education
  • Diversity Inclusion & Equity Champion
  • Emerging Study Programmes Pioneer
  • Enabling Start-up Culture
  • Outstanding Achievement in Professional Education

Narayana Business School’s achievement as Gujarat’s second top ranked private B school was highlighted during the Private B-Schools (National & State Rankings) session.

Driving Innovation In Higher Education

Founded with the mission of reshaping management education in India, Narayana Business School has continually evolved to align with global trends and industry requirements. Its programs emphasize experiential learning, real-world problem solving, AI and data-driven decision-making, and sustainable business leadership.

NBS has pioneered initiatives such as:

  • NBSAT: One of India’s prominent management entrance tests.
  • Entrepreneurial Incubation Programs fostering startup success.
  • A strong corporate interface with more than 675 recruiting partners.
  • Advanced labs, AI-driven learning platforms, and simulation tools to aid hands-on training.

These innovations have helped NBS consistently rank among India’s leading B schools and made it a preferred destination for management aspirants from across the country.

As industries shift, economies adapt, and technology reshapes how we think and work, the role of a business school is no longer to simply prepare students for the next job. It’s to prepare them for a world that doesn’t yet exist.

At NBS Ahmedabad, we believe education must evolve into something more human, more agile, and more conscious. It’s not only about being interdisciplinary or tech-forward, but also about instilling clarity, adaptability, and ethical depth in future leaders.

We see this milestone not as a finish line, but as a call to keep questioning:

  • What does it mean to lead with integrity in a volatile world?
  • How do we balance innovation with empathy?
  • How can we stay rooted in purpose while scaling with ambition?
