The IIRF is a trusted non-government ranking system in India, created by the IIRF Centre for Institutional Research (ICIR) to assess educational institutions nationwide.

Using a thorough methodology, it ranks over 1,000 institutions based on academic quality and employability outcomes.

The Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition, Mumbai, Maharashtra, topped the category of government colleges for hospitality in the IIRF University Ranking 2025.
The Institute of Hotel Management, Catering & Nutrition, Pusa, New Delhi, secured the 2nd position, followed by the Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, in 3rd place.
The Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition, Bengaluru, Karnataka, and the Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition, Kolkata, West Bengal, secured the 4th and 5th ranks, respectively.
