PSSCIVE opens applications for PG Diploma in Vocational Education and Training

The Pandit Sunderlal Sharma Central Institute of Vocational Education (PSSCIVE), Bhopal, a constituent unit of the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) under the Ministry of Education, has opened applications for the Post Graduate Diploma in Vocational Education and Training (PGDVET) for the 2026-27 academic session.

The programme will be offered through Distance-Cum-Contact Mode, according to an NCERT announcement.

The last date to apply is October 9, 2026.

PGDVET programme details

The PGDVET is a one-year postgraduate diploma focused on vocational education and training. The programme also provides an exit option after the first semester, with students completing that stage eligible for a Certificate in Vocational Pedagogy Programme, according to the announcement.

The total programme fee is ₹25,000. The fee structure includes a ₹1,000 admission fee, ₹4,000 tuition fee and ₹10,000 each for delivery of the programme in Semesters I and II. The ₹4,000 tuition fee is exempted for SC/ST candidates.

Applications open for 2026-27

NCERT has invited interested applicants to apply for the 2026-27 PGDVET programme through the admission process announced by PSSCIVE.

The institute is based in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, and functions as a constituent unit of NCERT under the Ministry of Education.
