The ninth edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) 2026 has received an overwhelming response, with more than 4.05 crore registrations recorded so far, surpassing last year's participation of 3.53 crore, which had set a Guinness World Record.
According to official data, 37,751,681 students, 2,300,231 teachers, and 530,043 parents have registered this year.

The interactive program, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi engages with students, teachers, and parents, will take place in January 2026. The exact date will be announced soon.
Registration for PPC 2026 is open to students from Classes 6 to 12, as well as teachers and parents.
Participants can register individually or through their school login via the MyGov portal using their name and mobile number. All participants will receive a certificate of participation.
In a post on X, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his excitement about the upcoming interaction. “The Class X and XII board exams are approaching, and so is this year's #ParikshaPeCharcha,” he wrote.
“Looking forward to interacting with students, parents, and teachers on different aspects of exams, most notably ways to overcome exam stress, remaining calm and confident, and appearing for exams with a smile,” he added.
As part of the selection process, participants can take part in an online Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) competition hosted on the MyGov portal (https://innovateindia1.mygov.in/) until Jan 11, 2026.
Through this platform, students, teachers, and parents can submit their questions related to exam preparation, stress management, and learning habits. Selected entries will be featured during the event.
Pariksha Pe Charcha, launched in 2018, has grown into an annual platform where the Prime Minister discusses education, career, and mental well-being, encouraging students to adopt a positive approach toward exams.
