Candidates who have not yet confirmed their banking information can complete the process through the registration portal to receive their examination fee refund.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has reopened the facility for NEET UG 2026 candidates to confirm or update their bank account details, giving those who have not yet completed the process another chance to receive refunds of the examination fee after the cancellation of the May 3, 2026 exam.
In a public notice issued on July 7, the agency said around 1,028,223 candidates have already verified their bank account details, and the refund process for them has begun.

Candidates who have not yet submitted or confirmed their banking information can now do so through the NEET UG 2026 registration portal until July 14, 2026, at 11:50 PM.
NTA said that only about 1,028,223 candidates have updated and confirmed their bank accounts and that refunds have already started for those candidates. However, it added that "a large number of students are yet to update/confirm their bank account details."
To ensure all eligible candidates receive their refunds, the testing agency has reopened the bank account confirmation and updation window.
The notice said candidates should complete the process by July 14, 2026, up to 11:50 PM, so that "NTA can complete the refund process without any delay."
Candidates can update their details by visiting the NEET UG 2026 registration portal at neet.nta.nic.in and logging in using their application credentials.
After completing the two-factor authentication process, they need to click on the "Bank Account Details Confirmation/Updation" link and enter or revise their bank account information.
The agency also advised candidates to upload a canceled cheque, if required, to ensure the accuracy of the bank account details before submitting the information.
Candidates who have not yet confirmed or updated their bank account details are advised to complete the process before the deadline to ensure they receive the NEET UG 2026 examination fee refund without delay.
