NEET UG 2024 answer key out soon, check details

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) Final Answer Key 2024 for MBBS candidates in the second week of June. Candidates can check the answer key at https://exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/. The final answer key, along with the NEET results and toppers list, will be released by the NTA.

Subject to the present reservation policy, applications to undergraduate medical programs will only be admitted from the All India Merit List of qualified applicants, based on the All India rank in the Merit List of the NEET (UG) in 2024.

Steps to download the answer key

Step 1: Go to the official website at exams.nta.ac.in.

Step 2: Click on ‘NEET 2024 Answer Key’ on the homepage.

Step 3: Fill in the needed details and press ‘Submit’.

Step 5: The NEET UG 2024 Answer Key will be showcased on your screen.

Step 6: Download the answer key for your future use.

Any wrong option will result in a mark deduction of one (-1). Marked for review or unanswered questions will receive no mark (0).

If more than one option turns out to be valid, only those who have marked any of the correct options will receive four (+4) marks. If, every response to the question is determined to be correct, then each participant will receive four (+4) marks.

If none of the answers are found to be accurate, a question is found to be incorrect, or a question is withdrawn, all candidates will be awarded four marks (+4), regardless of whether they attempted the question or not.

Additionally, applicants can challenge the NEET UG 2024 answer key for a non-refundable charge of ₹ 200. If they want to challenge the response within the allotted period, they must pay an amount. It is important for applicants to remember that once the NEET UG final answer key is released, no further questions or concerns will be accepted.

The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG), formerly the All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT), is an all-India pre-medical entrance test for students who wish to pursue undergraduate medical (MBBS), dental (BDS), and AYUSH (BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, etc.) courses in government and private institutions in India. The exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

The NEET UG 2024 was held on May 5, from 2 pm to 5.20 pm. This time, more than 24 lakh applicants showed up for the test from 4,750 centers spread over 571 cities nationwide and 14 cities outside India.
