The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has announced the launch of free online courses aimed at aiding Class 11 and 12 students in their board exam preparation.
These courses will be available through the SWAYAM portal, with enrollment commencing on September 22, 2025. The initiative is designed to provide accessible, high-quality educational resources to students across India, particularly benefiting those in remote areas.

Course Details:
The NCERT courses will cover a range of core subjects, including:
Class 11: Accountancy, Biology, Business Studies, Chemistry, Economics, Geography, Physics, Psychology, Sociology
Class 12: Biology, Business Studies, Chemistry, Economics, English, Geography, Mathematics, Physics, Psychology, Sociology
Each course is structured to run for 24 weeks, allowing students to engage with the material at their own pace. The content is delivered by experienced NCERT faculty, focusing on conceptual clarity and in-depth understanding of the syllabus.

Enrollment Period: September 22, 2025 – February 20, 2026
Last Date for Exam Registration: March 2, 2026
Final Assessment Date: March 3, 2026
Students who secure a score of 60% or above in the final assessment will be awarded a certificate of completion by NCERT. This certification can serve as a valuable addition to students' academic profiles.
