The board has advised candidates to rely only on its official websites and WhatsApp channel for exam-related updates and report any fraudulent messages or suspicious activity to authorities.
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has warned NEET PG 2025 aspirants against fake notices, emails, SMS, and social media posts falsely claiming to be from the board.
In an official statement, NBEMS urged candidates to rely only on its two official websites, natboard.edu.in and nbe.edu.in, for accurate updates regarding its examinations.
The board also confirmed that its only official WhatsApp channel is whatsapp.com/channel/0029VbAseBd7T8bTcZS9mg20.
"There are no other official handles or channels of NBEMS on any social media platform," the notice clarified.
NBEMS emphasized that all its notices issued since July 2020 carry a QR code, which, when scanned, redirects users to the original notice on the NBEMS website.
The board cautioned that some individuals may try to mislead candidates by impersonating NBEMS through spoofed emails, SMS, or social media content, often with the goal of phishing or extracting sensitive information.
“Candidates are hereby advised not to be allured or misled by unscrupulous agents/touts making false and bogus claims of helping any candidate in any way by such spoofed emails/SMS or forged documents or social media,” NBEMS said.
It further clarified that it does not send any emails or SMS about securing excellent marks in any examination it conducts.
Candidates are advised to verify any suspicious communication using the NBEMS official websites.
In cases where candidates are contacted by individuals promising exam favors, access to question papers, or any undue advantage via spoofed messages or calls, NBEMS urged them to report such instances to [email protected] and inform the local police for further investigation.
