Jamia Millia Islamia opens applications for short-term AI and cybersecurity courses

Jamia Millia Islamia’s Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship has announced the opening of applications for its latest batch of short-term skill-based courses in artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.

The university said the programs aim to equip youth, aspiring entrepreneurs, and job seekers with practical digital skills.

The courses are offered through the Smart Academy for Digital Technologies and Entrepreneurship, established in collaboration with the Tech Mahindra Foundation.

The academy provides certificate-level programs designed to enhance digital capabilities and entrepreneurial skills.

According to the university, the programs combine classroom learning with hands-on training to prepare participants for employment in digital roles or to support self-employment and startup ventures.

All courses are conducted offline, with guidance from subject experts and exposure to industry practices.

The current offerings include Digital Entrepreneurship, UI/UX Design, Advanced Digital Marketing, and AI-Driven Data Analysis.

Each program runs for three months and is open to candidates who have completed Class 12 or an equivalent qualification.

The Digital Entrepreneurship course is priced at ₹3,050, while the UI/UX Design program costs ₹12,600.

Both the Advanced Digital Marketing and AI-Driven Data Analysis courses carry a fee of ₹10,500 each.

“The programs are intended to help learners access opportunities in areas such as digital media, design, data analysis, and technology-enabled services,” the university said in a statement.

Officials added that the initiative is part of a broader effort to foster innovation and self-reliance, enabling participants to develop skills aligned with India’s growing digital and startup ecosystem.
