The program allows working professionals and journalists to pursue a postgraduate degree in mass communication on weekends, with a lateral entry option for diploma holders to finish in one year.
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has introduced a new postgraduate program in Mass Communication, offered in weekend mode to accommodate working professionals.
The two-year program will be conducted at the University School of Mass Communication (USMC) on the university’s East Campus.
A total of 60 seats are available, with an annual fee of ₹95,000, the university said in an official statement.
Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Admission will be determined with 70% weightage given to undergraduate marks and 30% weightage to the interview.
The application form is available on the university’s official website. Completed forms, along with a bank draft of ₹2,500 payable to the Registrar, GGSIPU, must be submitted at the University Facility Centre, Dwarka Campus, by September 4.
The program is designed to suit working professionals and journalists who wish to continue their jobs while pursuing higher studies.
Candidates holding a diploma in mass communication may opt for lateral entry and complete the degree in one year instead of two.
