The partnership will deliver hands-on, play-based learning in schools, Anganwadis, and community centers, while training educators and volunteers to foster creativity, innovation, and cross-cultural understanding among young learners.

Qatar Museums and the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre have announced a five-year strategic partnership to expand museum-based education programs in India and Qatar, focusing on creative learning for children.
The agreement was signed at the National Museum of Qatar in Doha by Her Excellency Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Chairperson of Qatar Museums, and Isha Ambani.

The collaboration will introduce Museum-in-Residence programs aimed at supporting early childhood learning and fostering cross-cultural exchange.
The initiatives will draw on Qatar Museums’ expertise in museum-led education and will be implemented through NMACC’s multidisciplinary platform.
While children remain the central focus, teachers and volunteers will also receive training, resources, and hands-on mentoring to promote creativity and innovation in classrooms.
The programs will be tailored to different learning environments and delivered across multiple regions in India.
NMACC will partner with Reliance Foundation for implementation, with guidance from Qatar Museums experts, including those from Dadu, Children’s Museum of Qatar.
Her Excellency Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani said, “Qatar Museums and NMACC share the belief that creativity and cultural exchange are key to shaping a new generation of confident, empathetic young learners.”
She added that the partnership builds on the legacy of the Year of Culture with India.
Isha Ambani said, “We are pleased to partner with Her Excellency Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and Qatar Museums on this meaningful collaboration focused on children and education.”
She emphasized that culture nurtures imagination while education transforms potential into reality.
Programs will be implemented in schools, Anganwadis, and community centers, including in rural and underserved areas.
A key initiative is the Light Atelier from Dadu, Children’s Museum of Qatar, designed for children aged three to seven and centered on learning through play.

Maha Al Hajri, Acting Director of Dadu, said the Museum-in-Residence program allows Dadu to extend its educational philosophy beyond its physical space while building meaningful cultural exchanges.
The partnership aligns with Qatar National Vision 2030 and reflects Qatar Museums’ commitment to global education and cultural development.
For NMACC, it represents another step in introducing global ideas to India’s leading cultural center.
