The program offers flexible, online learning with weekend and evening classes, aiming to equip working professionals and recent graduates with industry-relevant skills in advanced technology domains.

The Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IIT Madras), has introduced a new postgraduate diploma to help professionals and recent graduates enhance their expertise in cutting-edge technology fields. High-performing students may also be eligible to pursue web-enabled MTech degrees.
The program is designed to equip working professionals and recent graduates with industry-relevant technical skills.

It features access to recorded sessions and live online classes held during weekends or evenings, making it suitable for individuals with internships or full-time jobs.
The entrance exam for admission will be held on July 13, 2025. Applications are open until May 2025, and classes will commence in August or September 2025.

Vignesh Muthuvijayan, Associate Chair of the Centre for Outreach and Digital Education (CODE) at IIT Madras, said the center is responding to the growing demand for flexible, industry-relevant technical education.
Candidates will complete practical assignments and interim assessments through remote proctoring.
Final examinations will be conducted at designated centers across the country. Where applicable, candidates may attend in-person lab sessions at the institute.
Specializations offered include aerospace engineering, artificial intelligence, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, engineering design, and process safety.
